IXL has been part of Aussie life for over 120 years and has stood as a proud symbol of Australian quality, innovation and resilience. Founded in 1898 by the enterprising (Sir) Henry Jones, whose motto “I excel in everything I do,” aptly inspired the name IXL.
IXL quickly became one of Australia’s most loved jam brands, with deep roots in Tasmania. Jones’ legacy is steeped in dedication to craftsmanship and integrity. From humble beginnings working on the jam factory floor, to mastering the art of jam making, to building an empire that married food production with smart investment – Sir Henry Jones’ the icon behind IXL continues to guide us today, in spirit.
